Practical Use of the méduse lampshade Is Now Perfect for You

In the bathroom and the kitchen, we opt for a central suspension to illuminate the room well and we complete the lighting with a more targeted light, above the sink and the worktop. In the living room, it is better to select a pendant lamp that diffuses light. In the dining room, on the contrary, the pendant lamp should focus its lighting on the table. Finally, in the bedroom, we choose a pendant lamp that filters the light and hides the bulb in order to avoid being dazzled.

A suspension in the right material

Again, the material of the méduse lampshade will depend on the nature of the room. We therefore advise against hanging fabric, wood or paper in the kitchen in order to avoid soiling and splashes of fat. Metal is ideal because it is easy to clean. In the bathroom – because of the high humidity – we prefer wood or glass rather than paper or metal which could rust. In the living room, the dining room and the bedroom, no constraints! Wood, metal, glass, straw, rattan or even paper are welcome depending on the atmosphere and style you want to give to the room.

It is important to choose a pendant light that will give you the type of lighting you want. The style must imperatively be part of your selection criteria to magnify your interior as it should. To do so, here are some tips and tricks for choosing the right pendant light!

Size

To define the ideal size of your pendant light, it must be adapted to the dimensions of the room. The suspension must be well proportioned to the room. You don’t have to settle for just one suspension, however, if you feel like it you can coordinate several. For this, it would be better to focus on small suspensions.

Materials

Double check the materials used to make the pendant light. Not all materials are suitable for certain types of parts. For the kitchen, laundry room or bathroom, it would be better to choose materials that are easy to clean. Exit therefore fabric or paper suspensions that will be preferred for the bedroom, living room or dining room.
